In today’s video, I’m excited to share a forecasting resource that has been very useful for my clients, which I have never shared publicly before. When launching your Kickstarter campaign, you may not know what to budget for or how to decide if Kickstarter is even the right platform for your product. While I love Kickstarter, I’m all about you choosing the right platform, and I want to give you the tools to figure that out.
Before you get into the assessment, make sure you know your numbers. What is your cost of goods per item? How much is the cost of freight and shipping? What is your product price? What is your minimum order quantity? If you know your numbers, you’ll be able to know how much funding you need to raise to make your product launch worth it.
