Mindset Challenge Video #2: THE VISION

Often, when you get into the day-to-day of being an entrepreneur, you can lose sight of your long term business goals. But if you take the time to really develop a vision for your eCommerce brand and set a BHAG (Big, Hairy, Audacious Goal), then you can start focusing on the things that really matter.

There’s something called the “entrepreneur roller coaster” that often happens when you start your own business. You’re going to find yourself feeling bipolar on a regular basis. Why? Because you’re pushing through your comfort zone. Some days you’ll feel like you can conquer the world, while on other days you might get set off by a negative comment which can throw you off from your long term business goals.

The only thing that’s going to help you navigate both the negative and positive emotions that come with the uncertainties of building your own eCommerce brand is your ability to keep showing up everyday no matter what. And what can make it really easy for you to show up every single day, even on bad ones, is keeping your long term business goals in view and, ultimately, knowing your WHY.

Having a goal bigger than yourself will keep you going. Setting a BHAG for your eCommerce brand can be daunting, but it can be exciting too. As you develop a vision for your business, you create the roadmap you need to stay on track.
