How To Add A Link To My TikTok Bio Without Business Verification (With Less Than 1000 Followers)

If you’re an e-commerce seller looking to boost your brand on TikTok, you might have encountered the challenge of adding a clickable link to your bio when you have less than 1000 followers.

In this blog, we’ll explore a workaround solution for this issue. Many individuals have faced frustration because they lack the business registration required by TikTok to obtain a clickable link.

Today, we’re here to share an alternative method that can help you achieve your goals without the need for a business account. Let’s dive in!

The Limitation Of TikTok Bio

After our previous blog on this topic, I received numerous comments from users who were unable to implement the workaround due to the absence of business registration. Their frustration led me to create this video as a solution for those facing similar challenges.

Unfortunately, as of now, it is not possible to have a clickable link in your TikTok bio if you have less than 1000 followers and lack a business registration. However, there is a workaround we can explore.

How To Build Your TikTok Account To 1000 Followers with TikTok Ad Manager

To quickly reach 1000 followers, we’ll be leveraging the TikTok Ad Manager. By setting up a follower campaign through a “Spark Ad,” you can build social proof and prime your TikTok account for paid ads.

How To Access TikTok Business Center

To begin, visit business.tiktok.com and create a business account if you don’t already have one. Once logged in, you’ll be directed to your TikTok Business Center account.

How To Navigate The TikTok Ads Manager

In the left-hand menu of your Business Center account, click on “Advertiser Accounts,” select the ad account you’ll be using, and click on the prompt to open TikTok Ads Manager.

How To Set Up The TikTok Follower Campaign

Within TikTok Ads Manager, go to the campaign builder and click on “Create.” Before proceeding, ensure that you have a couple of organic TikTok videos already posted on your account. We’ll be using these videos for the follower campaign.

How To Define TikTok Campaign Details

Select the advertising objective, such as “Top of Funnel” for building social proof and gaining followers. Give your campaign a name and add the date to track its performance.

You can also specify interests if you want to target a particular category of users.

How To Create TikTok Ad Group And Set Targeting

Name your ad group based on the interests you’re targeting. Choose custom targeting to have more control over your audience. Specify the location, gender, age (preferably over 18), and spending power, and select relevant behaviors, such as health and wellness.

How To Determine Daily TikTok Ad Budget

Set a daily budget of at least $50 to achieve rapid account growth. Keep in mind that the more you spend, the faster your account will grow. Running the campaign continuously will ensure it runs until the daily budget is exhausted.

How To Build TikTok Spark Ads

Link your TikTok account to the Ads Manager, allowing it to pull up your organic TikTok posts. Select the post you want to run as an ad.

Note that you won’t be able to edit the caption when using Spark Ads, so ensure your native TikTok posts are optimized for use as ads.

How To Launch the TikTok Campaign

Review your ad details, ensuring the website event is properly tracked through your set-up pixel. Create multiple ads by duplicating the previous ones to provide variety and optimize algorithm performance.

Finally, click on “Submit” to launch the campaign.

In Conclusion

While it may seem challenging to have a clickable link in your TikTok bio with less than 1000 followers and no business registration, the workaround we discussed provides a viable solution.

By utilizing the TikTok Ad Manager and setting up a follower campaign, you can quickly build your follower count and achieve the desired milestone. Remember to stay consistent and experiment with different strategies to optimize your TikTok presence.
