5 BIG MISTAKES Beginner Shopify Owners Make

If you’re an eCommerce store owner and are just starting out on your Shopify launch strategy, then this video will guide you as you try to get your eCommerce brand or dropshipping business off the ground. In this video, I share with you 5 BIG eCommerce mistakes that I see people make all the time, and I want to make sure you don’t waste time and money with them too.

The number one mistake is not having proper preparation. You should be building up a wait list a few weeks before your Shopify launch, and focusing on daily marketing efforts.

The second mistake to avoid as an eCommerce store owner is not coming in with a realistic budget. You want to make sure you have enough of a budget to be able to drive ads and test new products.

The third common mistake that beginners make in launching their eCommerce brand or dropshipping business is what I call the “honeymoon”. Set realistic goals. One of the biggest eCommerce mistakes is having unrealistic expectations.

The fourth problem is that some people get so excited about the website or Shopify launch of their product that they don’t actually communicate how that product solves a problem.

The final mistake is not having a niche. The more focused your message is, the more likely you are to get customers for your eCommerce brand.
